Nasser Al Mahmoud

Founder & CEO

Nasser Al Mahmoud brings extensive expertise and leadership from a distinguished career in the banking and finance sectors. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bereke Bank, where he also holds the position of Chairman of Internal Audit, and as a Board Member at Qatar Islamic Bank, contributing as a member of the Compliance, Audit, and Risk Committee.

 

Previously, Al Mahmoud served as Managing at QInvest. Before that, he was Director at QNB Capital, where he was responsible for client coverage, debt structuring, and managing project finance transactions. His international experience includes working at Barclays Capital in London as part of their M&A team, with a focus on the oil and gas sector and the MENA bonds market.

 

Earlier in his career, he was the Head of Islamic Corporate Banking at QNB Al Islami, where he successfully built a portfolio exceeding QR 35 billion. In this role, he advised clients on structuring debt and implementing strategies to enhance profitability. Al Mahmoud began his banking career with QNB’s Corporate Banking division as an oil and gas industry specialist.

 

Before transitioning to the financial sector, Al Mahmoud worked at Qatar Gas as a Lead Electrical Engineer, showcasing a diverse professional foundation that bridges technical expertise with financial acumen.

 

Nasser Al Mahmoud holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University and a Master’s Degree in Project Management from the University of Houston. His ability to merge strategic vision with operational excellence has established him as a trusted leader across multiple industries.

Rahul Jain

Director - Research and Advisory

Rahul is an internationally experienced management consultant with over 17 years of expertise in strategic advisory and business development.

 

With a strong focus on SME and government advisory, Rahul has been actively involved in the Middle East region for the past 9 years, developing comprehensive investment plans and delivering more than 125 advisory mandates for clients across various sectors. He has successfully conducted GTM strategies and business plans for Qatari entrepreneurs, demonstrating his ability to drive growth and innovation.

 

Rahul’s experience extends to supporting European and American MNCs in emerging markets, where he has solved complex business challenges and provided strategic guidance to business and C-level executives in India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. His work spans a range of critical areas, including market entry strategy, strategic sourcing, M&A, and global/Asia strategy, with a focus on industries such as Automotive, Textile, Building Materials, and Industrial sectors.

 

Rahul is proficient in primary and secondary research, business analytics, financial analysis, data modeling, and client servicing. His ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and effectively deliver presentations to C-level executives has been integral to driving business growth and aligning organizational strategies with client goals. His strategic advisory approach ensures that clients are equipped to navigate evolving market dynamics and achieve sustainable success.

Tamara Khalil

Director - Business Development

Tamara is a seasoned specialist in brand building, corporate marketing, and public and investor relations, with over 25 years of experience across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and global markets.

 

Her expertise lies in transforming brand visions into clear business strategies, objectives, and KPIs that drive tangible results. Tamara has a proven track record in reviewing marketing structures for businesses to enhance profitability and brand awareness while reassessing service standards and procedures for operational hotels and outlets, and developing SOPs for properties under development.

 

In her previous director role at Katara Hospitality in Qatar, Tamara spearheaded a comprehensive rebranding strategy that transformed the company from Qatar National Hotels Co. into Katara Hospitality, capturing global attention. She collaborated with stakeholders from government bodies, international brand offices, and financial institutions to communicate the company’s strategic expansion and attract worldwide investment. Her efforts were instrumental in elevating the organization’s reputation and global footprint.

 

Tamara also specializes in designing programs that enhance corporate values, improve organizational culture, and increase staff motivation. As a professional Certified Coach, she works with executives to create more conscious and effective work environments. her facilitation approach combines emotional intelligence, conscious leadership, and team-building strategies to foster transformational growth for both individuals and organizations.

 

Tamara holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), is a Professional Certified Coach and Certified LCP & CLA Facilitator.

Priyank Shah

Project Manager and Head of Market Research

Priyank is a senior management executive with over 15 years of expertise in go-to-market (GTM) strategies, feasibility studies, business planning, valuation, financial analysis, and market and consumer research. He has a proven track record in industry attractiveness and business development, with extensive experience in managing business expansion plans and formulating sustainable strategies.

 

Priyank has successfully guided clients in developing business diversification and expansion plans, particularly in consumer goods and greenhouse farming projects. His work includes detailed feasibility studies and business plans for prominent companies in Qatar and the GCC region. He has played a key role in delivering 30+ industrial and service sector reports for international trade missions from Qatar to Asia and GCC countries.

 

An expert in sector market research, Priyank has extensive experience in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, working with the International Copper Association and Qatar’s largest steel manufacturer. He also conducted market assessments for India’s second-largest two-wheeler manufacturer, identifying export opportunities in Morocco, Angola, and Indonesia. Executed textile industry procurement & supply chain analysis for Italy, Japan, Hong Kong and Bangladesh. Priyank’s expertise extends to pricing strategies for Qatar’s largest supermarket chain, optimizing product pricing for FMCG, home appliances, and household items across 50+ stores monthly. His comprehensive skills position him as a trusted advisor for clients across diverse industries.

Abbas M. Fahs

Project Manager and Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance

Abbas is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in banking, finance, consulting, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). He has successfully led high-impact projects spanning credit review, risk management, investment portfolio optimization, and strategic consulting, with a strong emphasis on market studies and growth strategies. Renowned for his strategic approach, Abbas consistently drives financial stability and business growth by leveraging his expertise in market analysis to identify key opportunities.

Fahad Nawaz
